The Founding Team

Ron Palmeri

Ron Palmeri

Ron Palmeri has a track record of building innovative technology startups. He is recognized for his expertise in creating user-centric products that reshape how people connect and work. Ron has been a founder or day zero investor in groundbreaking startups such as OpenDNS, Google Voice (previously Grand Central, acquired by Google) Scout Labs (first social media analytics company), Prism (2011 AI computer vision startup), Layer (TechCrunch Disrupt winner) and others, with collective exits exceeding $700m. Ron has worked as a venture capitalist with Minor Ventures and as a partner at Arrington Capital.

David Temkin

David Temkin

David Temkin is a longtime Silicon Valley technologist. He was most recently at Google, where he led the product team responsible for advertising privacy and user trust. Prior to Google he was CPO at Brave Software. He’s worked at Apple as an engineer, AOL as a general manager and other companies in CTO and product roles. Trainspot is the third company he’s co-founded; he previously co-founded Laszlo Systems and Cola, Inc. David is named on 11 patents.

Jeremy Wyld

Jeremy Wyld

Jeremy Wyld has spent over 25 years working on innovative consumer products. He started with Apple and its Newton projects. After a period of time at early internet startups, he returned to Apple, focusing on Internet technologies as a core part of OS X. Jeremy was part of the original team of 10 software engineers working on the first generation iPhone; he is named on the famous '949 patent (US Patent 7,479,949; commonly referred to as "the iPhone patent") as well as being a contributor to the iPod Touch and iPad. Trainspot is the third startup he’s co-founded.

Brian Maggi

Brian Maggi

Brian Maggi has over 30 years of experience and thought leadership in product design and marketing. He got his start in the industry at Apple (Newton, iMac, iTunes), and later co-founded three startups: Postini (acquired by Google); Idea Momentum, a product design agency; and Cola Inc., a consumer messaging company. He is named on two of the original patents for email spam blocking. He’s also been a standup comedian, but don’t tell anyone.

Jason Cline

Jason Cline

Jason Cline was the Director of Engineering at Sencha, where he led the development of high-performance web application frameworks. With extensive expertise in front-end technologies, he was instrumental in driving innovation and improving the developer experience across Sencha's product suite. He previously worked in senior engineering roles at Vodafone and Sitepen.
